Al-Hayat is one of Saudi Arabia’s leading daily pan-Arab newspapers – enjoying widespread circulation of over 200,000 copies.

It has offices in London, Paris, New York and Washington, apart from Arab countries and cities including Dubai, Moscow, Jeddah, Cairo and Baghdad to name a few.

A 1997 New York Times article described the Al-Hayat as the best and most intensely read newspaper in the Arab nations.

Even though it is more critical of the Saudi’s government than other major dailies, the Al-Hayat is widely read, especially in Lebanon. The daily comes in a 24 page spread and can be read online on the website of Dar al-Hayat – the umbrella group that publishes the newspaper.
