Okaz is a highly popular Arabic newspaper that operates from Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The paper was established as early as 1960 along with the Saudi Gazette. Okaz is printed simultaneously in Riyadh as well as Jeddah and has several offices that span across Saudi Arabia. The daily newspaper has a prominent presence in the regions of Asir and Hejaz. Abdullah Saleh Kamel leads the newspaper as the chairman of the Okaz Organization for Press and Publication. He also fulfills the role of chairman of the Board of Directors. The Okaz is well known throughout the globe as the Arabic version of the popular New York Post.
